This category covers safety courses like CPR, AED, first aid, BLS and lifeguard training, swim lessons for kids and adults, and tutoring, music, art, flying and hobby classes. Lessons can be one-on-one or in groups, and some teachers come to your home, pool or workplace. Prices are usually per class or per person, and some teachers quote after you message them. Taking a course for work? Ask which group issues the card, such as the American Red Cross or the American Heart Association, and check that your employer accepts it. Need it for a child care license? Ask for pediatric first aid and CPR. For flying lessons, ask to see the instructor's FAA certificate.
